Hi from us

We’re Nami and Marianne, the founders of mesme.

Nami is Japanese-British, Marianne is Irish, and we both live in Zürich. Nami comes from a finance background, Marianne from marketing—and we teamed up after realising our nails needed a gentler, more flexible routine between appointments.

Wraps have always been big in Japan, and Nami has loved them for years. She’s also been through cancer, and knows how much a small beauty ritual can help you feel like yourself again. Marianne had just left the corporate world and was ready to build something with heart.

We’re girly and ambitious. We love beauty and business. And mesme brings all of that together—creativity, connection, confidence.

Yes, the product’s amazing—but for us, mesme is about more than nails. It’s about lifting your mood. Feeling like you. It’s about women lifting and inspiring each other. That’s why each wrap is named after a woman who’s been part of our story, and why every image you see is a real person — fearless friends and local women who said yes to a shoot.
